\n \nJoin us for an introductory c lass on throwing pottery on the wheel. Learn the s kills necessary to center\, open and pull your fir st cylinder. It’s the perfect way to get your hand s in the clay and discover if pottery is for you. This class is designed for students with little to no experience on the potter's wheel. This class w ill also cover glazing. The Fundamentals class is a great way to build confidence in preparing clay\ , mastering centering\, and refining your basic th rowing techniques. Dive in and experience the joy of creating with clay!
\n \nCost of class includes weekly instruction\, studio clay\, studio glazes and firing. You should expect to finish 3- 5 pieces in the course of the class that will be y ours to keep.
\n \nStudents may repeat the Fundamentals I class once before moving on to the Fundamentals II level. To ensure there is enou gh space to accomodate new clay students\, you may not take this class more than twice.
\n \nNote: Wheel throwing is physically deman ding and requires holding static positions for ext ended periods of time. This class is not recommend ed for individuals with chronic pain and/or injuri es in the hand\, wrist\, elbow or shoulders.< /p>\n \n
