 Step into the woodshop and discover what you can c
 reate with your own two hands! In this exciting on
 e-week camp\, girls ages 11 and up will learn to c
 onfidently use real woodworking tools while crafti
 ng beautiful\, functional projects.<br />\n <br />
 \n Campers will explore essential hand tools and p
 ower tools like the bandsaw\, miter saw\, and Japa
 nese handsaws\, learning safe techniques and build
 ing skills step by step. Along the way\, you’ll de
 sign and construct a stunning Japanese-inspired wo
 oden box\, plus other creative projects that showc
 ase craftsmanship and personal style.<br />\n <br 
 />\n This camp is about more than just wood—it’s a
 bout growing confidence\, resilience\, and creativ
 ity. As skills increase\, campers can earn tool ba
 dges for safe use and mastery\, along with charact
 er badges that celebrate teamwork\, perseverance\,

 : </b>Gizmo reserves half of all camp spots for sc
 holarship recipients. Scholarships are based on fi
 nancial need and awarded on a first-come\, first-s
 erved basis. Gizmo uses a sliding scale system for
  scholarships: you decide what your family can rea
 sonably contribute toward your child's camp experi
 ence\, and Gizmo covers the difference. Families m
 ay apply for one scholarship <em>per</em> child\, 
 <em>per</em> summer\, for the camp(s) of their cho
 osing. To apply for a scholarship\, please complet
