 hing you built yourself? In this action-packed cam
 p\, students will design and create their own cust
 om light-up skateboard deck—combining woodworking\
 , laser cutting\, and electronics into one epic bu
 ild.<br />\n <br />\n Start by shaping and sanding
  your board in the woodshop\, then add custom flai
 r using a laser cutter to engrave graphics or cut 
 design elements. Next\, bring the glow! You’ll wir
 e up NeoPixel LEDs and program a microcontroller t
 o create eye-catching light patterns that respond 
 and shine.<br />\n <br />\n Along the way\, you’ll
  learn safe tool use\, creative design techniques\
 , and foundational coding skills—earning badges fo
 r each tool and skill mastered. Throughout the wee
 k we will walk to the Coeur d'Alene skate park and
  test your designs! By the end of camp\, you won’t
  just roll out with a one-of-a-kind illuminated sk
 ateboard—you’ll leave with serious maker confidenc

 rship Information: </b>Gizmo reserves half of all 
 camp spots for scholarship recipients. Scholarship
 s are based on financial need and awarded on a fir
 st-come\, first-served basis. Gizmo uses a sliding
  scale system for scholarships: you decide what yo
 ur family can reasonably contribute toward your ch
 ild's camp experience\, and Gizmo covers the diffe
 rence. Families may apply for one scholarship <em>
 per</em> child\, <em>per</em> summer\, for the cam
 p(s) of their choosing. To apply for a scholarship

  issued for cancellations within 10 days of camp\,
