 hat burrs on a plant led to the invention of Velcr
 o? At this high-energy camp\, we’ll uncover how na
 ture is one of the greatest engineers of all time—
 and how you can use those ideas to design solution
 s of your own.<br />\n <br />\n Through hands-on c
 hallenges and creative design thinking\, you’ll ex
 plore how animals\, plants\, and ecosystems solve 
 problems to survive—and even thrive. Then it’s you
 r turn! Identify real-world challenges in your com
 munity (or beyond) and prototype your own innovati
 ve solutions inspired by the natural world.<br />\
 n <br />\n Campers will experiment with 3D printer
 s\, programming\, electronics\, and other Gizmo to
 ols to bring their ideas to life. Along the way\, 
 you’ll earn Engineering & Design Thinking badges\,
  plus skill badges for the tools and technologies 
 you master.<br />\n <br />\n Get ready to observe\
 , imagine\, prototype\, and build—because when you
  think like nature\, incredible ideas take root.</

 ship Information: </b>Gizmo reserves half of all c
 amp spots for scholarship recipients. Scholarships
  are based on financial need and awarded on a firs
 t-come\, first-served basis. Gizmo uses a sliding 
 scale system for scholarships: you decide what you
 r family can reasonably contribute toward your chi
 ld's camp experience\, and Gizmo covers the differ
 ence. Families may apply for one scholarship <em>p
 er</em> child\, <em>per</em> summer\, for the camp
 (s) of their choosing. To apply for a scholarship\

 ays prior to the start of camp</u> for a 90% refun
 d. (Gizmo retains 10% to cover our administrative/
 transaction costs.) Refunds will generally not be 
 issued for cancellations within 10 days of camp\,
