into a fully playable instrument—then plug in and

Assemble a Real Electric Guitar – Learn how guita
r bodies\, necks\, pickups\, and hardware work tog
ether as they build and wire their instrument.

\n --> Master Woodshop Tools – Safely u
se hand tools and shop equipment to sand\, shape\,
and refine their guitar body.

\n --
> Design & Decorate – Customize their instrument w
ith paint\, stain\, and laser-cut embellishments f
or a one-of-a-kind finish.

ne & Play – Learn how to string and tune their gui
tar\, understand the basics of sound and amplifica
tion\, and jam together as a group to celebrate th
eir creations.

udents will earn Tool & Skill Badges for woodworki
ng\, electronics basics\, laser cutting\, finishin
g techniques\, tuning\, and teamwork—plus special
“Rockstar” character badges for perseverance\, cre
ativity\, and collaboration

e end of the week\, campers won’t just leave with
new skills—they’ll leave with a custom electric gu
itar they built themselves and the confidence to p
lug in and play.

r woodworking experience required—just curiosity\,
creativity\, and a revved up attitude to rock!

\n \nScholars hip Information: Gizmo reserves half of all ca mp spots for scholarship recipients. Scholarships are based on financial need and awarded on a first -come\, first-served basis. Gizmo uses a sliding s cale system for scholarships: you decide what your family can reasonably contribute toward your chil d's camp experience\, and Gizmo covers the differe nce. Families may apply for one scholarship pe r child\, per summer\, for the camp( s) of their choosing. To apply for a scholarship\, please complete the Summer 2026 Scholarship Appli cation form\, which is accessible by clicking here. Upon approval of your applicati on\, you will be provided with instructions on how to register your child for camp. Please do not at tempt to register prior to receiving a confirmatio n from Gizmo.
\n \nCancellation Policy: If your child is no longer able to attend camp \, you may cancel your registration up to 10 da ys prior to the start of camp for a 90% refund . (Gizmo retains 10% to cover our administrative/t ransaction costs.) Refunds will generally not be i ssued for cancellations within 10 days of camp\, n or missed camp days.
\n \nCamp Policies & Procedures: Prior to completing camp registr ation\, families should be familiar with the polic ies outlined in the Youth Programs: Information for Families and the Gizmo Student Code of Conduct..
