 \, hands-on week invites students to become engine
 ers\, advocates\, and changemakers. Campers will e
 xplore meaningful community challenges\, meet real
  experts\, and then use Gizmo’s cutting-edge tools
  to prototype solutions that make a difference.<br
  />\n <br />\n Days 1–2: Explore & Empathize<br />
 \n Students will be introduced to a variety of pre
 ssing community challenges\, including:<br />\n <b
 r />\n --> Adaptive Sports & Accessibility – Learn
  how athletes with disabilities adapt equipment to
  compete and thrive. Campers will meet Paralympian
 s and coaches\, explore adaptive gear firsthand\, 
 and discover the engineering behind inclusion.<br 
 />\n <br />\n --> Prosthetics & Human-Centered Des
 ign – Visit with the prosthetic technician program
  at Spokane Falls Community College—the only progr
 am of its kind in the Western United States—to lea
 rn how prosthetics and adaptive equipment are deve
 loped and customized.<br />\n <br />\n --> Water Q
 uality & Environmental Stewardship-- learn about t
 he region's amazing aquifer from our University of
  Idaho Water Extension partners at IdaH2O\, and ch
 allenges with keeping our water cleanand available
  for all.<br />\n <br />\n --> Agriculture\, Soil 
 Health & Food Scarcity - Investigate the region's 
 soil health and challenges growing and providing f
 ood for all with our University of Idaho 4H Extens
 ion partners and regional food banks.<br />\n <br 
 />\n Through guided discussions and activities\, s
 tudents will practice Design Thinking—learning how
  to empathize\, define problems\, brainstorm boldl
 y\, prototype quickly\, and test creatively.<br />
 \n <br />\n Days 3–5: Design\, Build & Prototype<b
 r />\n Campers will form teams and “rev up” to tac
 kle a challenge of their choosing. Using Gizmo’s i
 ncredible maker resources—3D printing\, laser cutt
 ing\, programming and electronics\, and woodshop a
 nd fabrication tools--—students will design and bu
 ild working prototypes that address real-world nee
 ds.<br />\n <br />\n By the end of the week\, stud
 ents won’t just understand community challenges—th
 ey’ll have designed tangible solutions and gained 
 the confidence to see themselves as capable change
 makers in their own communities.<br />\n <br />\n 
 No prior experience required—just curiosity and a
