\n \nDescription: Campers become explorers\, artists\, builders\, and littl e scientists as they head outdoors to discover the wonders all around them. This playful\, hands-on camp invites curious minds to observe\, collect\, design\, and create using materials found in natur e.
\n \nWhy do leaves have different shapes ? Who might live under a log? What can you build w ith bark\, twigs\, and a little creativity?
\n \nThrough guided exploration\, storytelling\, building challenges\, and open-ended making\, camp ers learn to see the outdoors as a giant makerspac e full of possibilities. Every day is filled with hands-on discovery\, creative expression\, and joy ful experimentation.

\n \nCost: $150 (includes mat erials)
\n \nScholarship Information: Gizmo reserves half of all camp spots for schola rship recipients. Scholarships are based on financ ial need and awarded on a first-come\, first-serve d basis. Gizmo uses a sliding scale system for sch olarships: you decide what your family can reasona bly contribute toward your child's camp experience \, and Gizmo covers the difference. Families may a pply for one scholarship per child\, per summer\, for the camp(s) of their choosin g. To apply for a scholarship\, please complete th e Summer 2026 Scholarship Application form\, which is accessible by clicking here. Upon approval of your application\, you will be pr ovided with instructions on how to register your c hild for camp. Please do not attempt to register p rior to receiving a confirmation from Gizmo.
\n \nCancellation Policy: If your child i s no longer able to attend camp\, you may cancel y our registration up to 10 days prior to the sta rt of camp for a 90% refund. (Gizmo retains 10 % to cover our administrative/transaction costs.) Refunds will generally not be issued for cancellat ions within 10 days of camp\, nor missed camp days .
\n \nCamp Policies & Procedures: P rior to completing camp registration\, families sh ould be familiar with the policies outlined in the Youth Programs: In formation for Families and the Gizm o Student Code of Conduct.. In addition\, each camper is required to have a waiver signed by a p arent/guardian prior to participating in camp acti vities. You can access the youth waiver here.
