\n \nDescription: Welcome to Gizmo's Maker Mondays—where curiosity sparks creativity! In thi s hands-on workshop series\, you’ll open up old el ectronics to see what’s inside\, explore how mothe rboards\, microcontrollers\, and circuits really w ork\, and then start designing your own device usi ng Micro:bit and Circuit Playground boards. Learn to code at your own pace\, starting with block cod ing and earning badges as you go! Level up to Java Script and C++ for Arduino as your skills grow. W hether you’re lighting LEDs\, making sensors react \, or bringing wild ideas to life\, Maker Mondays are all about discovery\, invention\, and FUN!
\n \nNote: This class recurrs every mo nth with new challenges and skills to learn each s ession! There is something fun for both new and re turning students to experience--from coding to rob otics\, and new take-aparts each month!
\n \nAttire: Clothes that can get dirt y\, closed-toe shoes. Hair ties --hair should be p ulled back when we use electric drills/screw drive rs and other equipment.
