\n \nDescription: Campers become explorers\, artists\, builders\, and little scien tists as they head outdoors to discover the wonder s all around them. This playful\, hands-on camp in vites curious minds to observe\, collect\, design\ , and create using materials found in nature.
\ n \nWhy do leaves have different shapes? Who m ight live under a log? What can you build with bar k\, twigs\, and a little creativity?
\n \nT hrough guided exploration\, storytelling\, buildin g challenges\, and open-ended making\, campers lea rn to see the outdoors as a giant makerspace full of possibilities. Every day is filled with hands-o n discovery\, creative expression\, and joyful exp erimentation.

Cost: $150 (includes materials)
\n \nScholarship Information: Gizmo reserves half of all camp spots for scholarship r ecipients. Scholarships are based on financial nee d and awarded on a first-come\, first-served basis . Gizmo uses a sliding scale system for scholarshi ps: you decide what your family can reasonably con tribute toward your child's camp experience\, and Gizmo covers the difference. Families may apply fo r one scholarship per child\, per summer\, for the camp(s) of their choosing. To a pply for a scholarship\, please complete the Summe r 2026 Scholarship Application form\, which is accessible by clicking here. Upon ap proval of your application\, you will be provided with instructions on how to register your child fo r camp. Please do not attempt to register prior to receiving a confirmation from Gizmo.
\n \nCancellation Policy: If your child is no lo nger able to attend camp\, you may cancel your reg istration up to 10 days prior to the start of c amp for a 90% refund. (Gizmo retains 10% to co ver our administrative/transaction costs.) Refunds will generally not be issued for cancellations wi thin 10 days of camp\, nor missed camp days.
\n \nCamp Policies & Procedures: Prior to completing camp registration\, families should be familiar with the policies outlined in the Youth Programs: Informati on for Families and the Gizmo Stude nt Code of Conduct.. In addition\, each camper is required to have a waiver signed by a parent/g uardian prior to participating in camp activities. You can access the youth waiver here.
