Descri ption: Learn the fundamentals of measuring and marking\, then practice making accurate cross cut s\, and angled cuts using the miter saw. You’ll ex plore essential setups and accessories\, including fence\, clamps and cutting aids\, and learn how t o find and set angles with a speed square and by t ilting the saw blade. Along the way\, you’ll use a power drill for pre-drilling and countersinking a nd assemble a simple birdhouse as a complete demo project. This class covers the core skills require d for miter saw certification and is a great found ation for future woodshop projects.

Attire: please wear closed-toe shoes\, hair pull ed back\, and avoid overly loose and flowing cloth ing.
