\n \nDescription: Get ready to thr ead the needle and let your creativity shine in Se wing & Fabric Arts: Level 2—a fun\, hands-on 4-wee k class for ages 8 and up who have levelled up to Intermediate skills! Miss Cathy will recommend the best fit for your child if they have taken the Le vel 1 class.
\n \nIf your child is familiar
with hand and machine sewing and are new to Gizmo
\, come meet our fabric arts teacher\, Cathy\, and
she can assess the best fit for your child. Level
1 classes are offered on Tuesdays from 4-5:30 PM.

\n Students will continue developi
ng the fundamentals of hand sewing\, safely use a
sewing machine\, explore how to read and cut simpl
e patterns\, and get comfortable with essential se
wing tools like pins\, scissors\, and measuring ta
pes. Along the way\, you’ll practice real techniqu
es while creating fabric projects you’ll be proud
to show off.

\n Best of all\, studen
ts can earn sewing badges as they master new skill
s—celebrating progress\, patience\, and creativity
with every stitch. By the end of the class\, you’
ll have the confidence (and skills!) to keep sewin
g and designing on your own. Students can continue
with new projects as Level 1 stu
dents who have taken a prior Level 1 class! This w
ill prepare them for the Level 2 class when ready.
