  <p><b>Description: </b></p>\n \n <p>In this excit
 ing\, lab-based\, outdoor learning\, and challenge
 -driven course\, students will investigate the sci
 ence of our regional watershed—partnering with exp
 erts from the University of Idaho Water Extension 
 and 4-H to bring real-world learning to life.</p>\
 n \n <p>At the heart of our journey is the amazing
  Rathdrum Prairie-Spokane Aquifer—one of our regio
 n’s most important natural resources. Where does o
 ur water come from? How does it move underground? 
 Why does it matter? And how can we help protect it
 ?</p>\n \n <p>In this class\, students will:</p>\n
  \n <p>💧 Explore <strong>geology</strong> by build
 ing models of aquifers and underground water flow<
 br />\n 🧪 Test <strong>water quality and chemistry
 </strong> in hands-on labs<br />\n 🌱 Investigate <
 strong>ecology and biology</strong> to see how wat
 er supports plants\, animals\, and people<br />\n 
 🌨️ Discover <b>the Rathdrum Prairie Aquifer\, the 
 water beneath our feet! </b></p>\n \n <p>This isn’
 t just learning about science—it’s <em>doing</em> 
 science. Along the way\, participants can earn <st
 rong>Tool & Skill Badges</strong> in lab technique
 s\, environmental investigation\, engineering desi
 gn\, teamwork\, and problem-solving. Aligned with 
 Idaho science and technology standards for grades 
 3-5\,  this course also builds essential workforce
  and life skills—curiosity\, collaboration\, criti
 cal thinking\, and confidence—through meaningful\,
  real-world exploration.</p>\n \n <p>By the end of
  this three-month adventure\, students won’t just 
 understand their watershed—they’ll see themselves 
 as scientists\, engineers\, and stewards of the wa
