 e with clay! In <strong>Fundamentals of Pottery</s
 trong>\, students will dive into the timeless art 
 of wheel throwing while learning the essential tec
 hniques that potters use to shape clay into bowls\
 , cups\, and vessels.</p>\n \n <p>During this imme
 rsive expernece over six creative weeks\, students
  will get their hands in the clay and learn how to
 :</p>\n \n <ul>\n 	<li><strong>Center clay on the 
 wheel</strong>—the foundational skill of pottery</
 li>\n 	<li><strong>Open and pull a cylinder</stron
 g>\, the starting shape for many vessels</li>\n 	<
 li>Shape and refine simple forms like cups and bow
 ls</li>\n 	<li>Apply <strong>studio glazes</strong
 > to bring their pieces to life with color and shi
 ne</li>\n 	<li>Understand the use of the kiln for 
 bisque and glaze firing </li>\n </ul>\n \n <p>Alon
 g the way\, students will build confidence with ke
 y pottery skills—preparing clay\, practicing cente
 ring\, and establishing their throwing technique. 
 By the end of the class\, each student can expect 
 to complete <strong>4</strong><strong><strong>–5</
 strong> finished ceramic pieces</strong> to keep a
 nd enjoy.</p>\n \n <p>All materials are included: 
 <strong>studio clay\, glazes\, firing\, and weekly
  instruction</strong>—just bring your curiosity an
 d willingness to get a little muddy!</p>\n \n <p>T
 his course is designed for <strong>students with l
 ittle or no experience on the potter’s wheel</stro
 ng>\, making it a welcoming first step into the wo
 rld of ceramics. Students may repeat <strong>Funda
 mentals I</strong> once before advancing to the <s
 trong>Fundamentals II</strong> level.</p>\n \n <p>
 ⚠️ <em>Note:</em> Wheel throwing is a physically a
 ctive process that involves holding steady positio
 ns while shaping clay. Because of the strain on ha
 nds\, wrists\, elbows\, and shoulders\, this class
  may not be suitable for individuals with chronic
