De scription: Learn how to use a laser cutter to turn digital designs into precise\, real-world cre ations. A laser is an amazing tool that uses a foc used beam of light to engrave and cut through mate rials such as wood\, leather\, and acrylic.
\n \nYou'll learn how to make your own custom des igns using vector software and then how to set up your design files for the laser cutter and operate the machine safely.
\n \nThe project you'l l make in this class is a piece of layered art\, c ustomized to your tastes! Choose your own outline shape and inside layers and put it all together.\n \n
All the details you need to be certifie d on the laser at Gizmo will be covered during the class and if time allows\, there may be an opport unity to certify at the end of class (Note: certif ication is not guaranteed and is up to the instruc tor's evaluation of your capability)
