\n \nTake your first step into the amazing wo rld of digital making in this fun-filled two-week Taste of G izmo workshop! Young makers will discover how ideas can travel from a computer screen to a real\, 3D-printed creation—and then come to life w ith code!
\n \nUsing TinkerCad\, students will personalize a c ustom name badge by adding their name in bold 3D le tters and creative design elements. Once their bad ge is ready\, they'll prepare it for the 3D printe r and watch as layers of plastic transform their d igital design into something they can hold.
\n \nBut the fun doesn't stop there! Their badge is specially desig ned to hold a micro:bit—a tiny programmable compute r. Using M akeCode\, students will learn to code the ir micro:bit to display a scrolling name\, fun mes sages\, icons\, and animations\, turning their cre ation into an interactive badge they'll be excited to wear and show off!
