\n \nDescripti on: Welcome to Gizmo Makers Take Apart and Tin ker experience —where curiosity sparks creativity! In this hands-on workshop series\, you’ll open up old electronics to see what’s inside\, explore ho w motherboards\, microcontrollers\, and circuits r eally work\, and then start designing your own dev ice using Micro:bit\, Little Bits\, Circuit Playgr ound boards and NeoPixel lights. Learn to code at your own pace\, starting with block coding and ear ning badges as you go! Level up to JavaScript and Arduino C++ as your skills grow. Whether you’re l ighting LEDs\, making sensors react\, or bringing wild ideas to life\, Take Apart and Tinker classes are all about discovery\, invention\, and FUN!
\n \nNote: This class recurrs every m onth with new challenges and skills to learn each session! There is something fun for both new and r eturning students to experience--from coding to ro botics\, and new take-aparts each month!
\n \nAttire: Clothes that can get dir ty\, closed-toe shoes. Hair ties --hair should be pulled back when we use electric drills/screw driv ers and other equipment.
