r cutter\, you’ll explore how designers turn ideas
into real\, functional objects and create your ow
n personalized projects! This class is perfect for
new makers to Laser Lab\, and returning makers wh
o want to level up\, earn certification on the Las
er\, and hone their skills.

\n You’ll learn how to modify templates\, cr
eate your own designs\, experiment with shapes and
engraving\, and bring your ideas to life with the
laser’s super-clean cuts. Along the way\, you’ll
earn skill badges for design\, fabrication\, laser
engraving Level 1 and Level 2 badges and progress
ion to Level 3 badge\, plus safe tool use.
The Level 3 badge leads to member Certificati
on for 14+ year olds to use the Laser cutter/engra
ver with a parent present. Level 4 badge leads to
member certification for independent use as a 16+
year old in the Laser Lab.
