Date: Saturday, June 10th
Time: 1:00-3:00pm
Description: Youth ages 10-14 are invited to join us for a free 3D printing class. Learn the basics of 3D modeling in TinkerCAD while designing a custom ball maze. No prior experience with 3D printing is required; however paticipants should be comfortable working independently on a computer and familiar with basic geometric concepts (e.g. shapes, dimensions, angles). Students will also learn how the 3D printer works and participate in a demonstration print.
Due to the extended print time, student projects will be printed AFTER the class is over and available for pick-up at Gizmo or the NIBCA office.
This event is free, but space is limited. Please register to secure your child's spot.
Gizmo is excited to offer this FREE summer series of 3D printing classes in partnership with the North Idaho Building Contactors Association, and sponsored by the Idaho STEM Action Center. Check out our class for teens HERE and stay tuned for an adult class coming in August!
