Gizmo is partnering with the Professional Women in Building Council to bring you a special edition women's weekend woodworking event!
Get hands-on with the chop saw, power drill and nail gun while building a decorative wooden tray. Personalize your tray with a varierty of finish and handle options, plus a custom engraving using Gizmo's lasers!
For our participants with young children, we will be offering supervised all-ages children's activities in a nearby classroom, at no additional cost. (Children must be toilet trained and comfortable being in a different room from you.) Bring your best girl friends and make something that's practical and looks great in your home! No prior experience with tools or woodworking required.
Attire Requirements: Comfortable work clothing that you don't mind getting dirty. Closed-toe shoes. Long hair should be tied back and all jewelry removed from the wrists and fingers. Avoid loose or dangly clothing items. Safety glasses will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own.
Age: 18+
Cost: Thanks to PWB's sponsorship, we are able to offer this class at the reduced cost of $25.00 per participant (includes all materials and childcare).
