Copper Salt/Tea Candle Dish w/ Ornate Steel Stand

This course continues to teach the fundamentals of working in the metal shop with copper and essential tools. Participants must have taken the Copper Cuffs course or have had experience with forming copper using the tools and torches in the workshops

Session Date: December 14th

Time: 11:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Description: In this class, students will explore essential metal shop safety protocols and develop techniques for working with metals. They will learn how to anneal and shape copper into a 3-inch dish, perfect for holding spices or a tea candle. Additionally, students will discover the art of coloring copper through flame painting. The course will also cover the proper use of the oxyacetylene torch for welding and forming, guiding students as they create an ornate stand to display their copper dish.

Students must wear closed toed shoes and attire which is natural fibers. (Cotton, wool, denim, etc....) No synthetic clothing (polyester, spandex, nylon, etc...)

Prerequisites: Students are required to have taken the Copper Cuffs course prior to this class

Age: 16 years or older.

Cost: $120.00 for class + $15.00 for materials
