Session Dates:
Thursday, April 3rd, 2025
Time: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Description:
Make colorful windsocks that dance in the breeze! Kids will design and carve their own stamp to decorate fabric, creating unique patterns for their windsock. Then, learn to use a sewing machine to assemble it and add special embellishments to bring their design to life!
The windsocks are inspired by Koinobori, traditional Japanese carp-shaped windsocks flown to celebrate Children’s Day (Kodomo no Hi) on May 5th. In Japan, these windsocks symbolize strength, determination, and success—just like a koi fish swimming upstream!
This camp is perfect for young artists who love hands-on projects and learning new skills!
Age: 7 - 10 years old
Cost: $90 + $15 materials
Instructed By: Deborah Loy
