Session Dates:
Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025
Time: 9:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Description:
Teens will step into the world of coppersmithing and transform raw copper material into stunning, one-of-a-kind cuffs. Using the tools of metalshop, campers will learn how to shape, texture, and form their own wearable art out of copper.
Along the way, they’ll explore copper's unique properties, discover how heat changes metal, and experiment with different techniques to bring their designs to life. Whether adding texture with hammer strikes or shaping the perfect curve, each camper will leave with a handcrafted copper cuff and a new appreciation for metalwork.
No experience needed—just curiosity, creativity, and a willingness to get hands-on with fire and metal!
Age: 12+
Cost: $90 + $15 materials
Instructed By: Dave Gonzales
