Create your own colorful glass-like sculpture!

Description: Learn to create! In this class we will play with abstract shapes and create sculptures of light, color, and form. This lesson plan introduces students to the qualities that artists are drawn to with the glass medium. The material used in the class was originally formulated for creating window clings and is actually an acrylic paint that dries into a flexible, high-gloss surface that resembles blown or flameworked hot glass. The creations may be shaped, bent, curled, stretched, and rearranged until the desired balance and form is achieved.
Age: 7-11
Cost: $45 for class + $15 for materials
