Description:
Fundamentals II offers students an opportunity to refresh skills learned in Gizmo’s Fundamentals I or other introductory class. Students will explore new techniques for throwing, trimming, decorating and glazing.
When entering Fundamentals II students should be able to confidently center up to 2 pounds of clay, and repeatedly throw a 1 pound cylinder. This class offers students an opportunity to refresh skills learned in Fundamentals I and explore new techniques for throwing, trimming, decorating and glazing.
Class cost includes clay used to produce pieces in class and a one-month clay membership to use the studio between classes to continue practicing your skills.
Prerequisites: Fundamentals of Pottery class at Gizmo (aka Fundamentals I) AND confidently center up to 2 pounds of clay, and repeatedly throw a 1 pound cylinder.
