Session Date:
Thursday, January 22nd
Time: 5:15 - 8:30 PM
Description: There's something almost magical about watching a rough block of wood transform into a smooth, graceful bowl right before your eyes. Wood turning is one of the oldest crafts around—and one of the most immediately rewarding.
In this 3-hour beginner workshop, you'll learn the fundamentals of the lathe and take a round hardwood blank from start to finish: shaping the outside, hollowing the inside, and applying a food-safe finish. By the end of the evening, you'll walk out with a handmade 6" bowl ready for your kitchen table.
No experience needed—just a willingness to make some shavings and create something beautiful with your own hands.
Age: 16+
Cost: $135 (includes materials)
