Session Date:
Saturday, March 28th
Time: 11:00 AM - 1:00 PM
Description: In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll be introduced to the laser cutter — a computer-controlled machine that uses a highly focused beam of light to precisely cut and engrave materials like wood, acrylic, and more. We’ll cover how the machine works, basic safety, simple file setup, and how to prepare your design for cutting and engraving.
Then you’ll design and make your own set of wooden plant stakes for your garden. Customize the shape, choose your favorite fonts, add plant names, and include a cute engraved icon to match each herb, veggie, or flower. Whether you’re labeling tomatoes, basil, dahlias, or houseplants, you’ll leave with personalized stakes that are both practical and beautiful.
No prior experience needed — just bring your garden wish list and your creativity!
