Stained Glass: Copper Foil Intermediate - 3D Candy Dish

Explore new techniques creating three-dimensional structures! {Thursday}

Session Dates (2):
Tuesday, April 30th
Tuesday, May 7th

Time: 6:30 - 8:30 PM

Description:

Create a stunning, three-dimensional stained glass dish with your choice of adornment - make it a rose, a butterfly, whatever you wish! This intermediate-level class is designed for students ready to take their skills to the next level. Building on techniques learned in a previous stained glass class, you’ll cut and shape glass, grind edges for precise fits, apply copper foil, and solder panels together to form a sculptural, freestanding piece with depth and dimension.

This class focuses on new techniques specific to three-dimensional stained glass construction, including assembling multi-panel forms, reinforcing structure, and refining solder seams for strength and clean lines. Prior experience with glass cutting and soldering is required. If you’re ready to move beyond flat projects and explore how stained glass comes together in space, this class offers a rewarding challenge and a beautiful terrarium to take home.
