Description:
Intermediate Pottery offers experienced students an opportunity to refresh skills learned in Pottery Fundamentals or other introductory class. Students will explore new techniques for throwing, trimming, decorating and glazing.
When entering Intermediate Pottery, students should be able to confidently center up to two pounds of clay and repeatedly throw a one-pound cylinder.
Class cost includes clay used to produce pieces in class and a one-month clay membership to use the studio between classes to continue practicing your skills.
Prerequisites: Confidently center up to 2 pounds of clay, and repeatedly throw a 1 pound cylinder.
