Description: In this beginner-friendly class, you’ll be introduced to the laser cutter — a computer-controlled machine that uses a highly focused beam of light to precisely cut and engrave materials like wood, acrylic, and more. We’ll cover how the machine works, basic safety, simple file setup, and how to prepare your design for cutting and engraving.
You'll design and make your own laser-cut folding hand-fan! Choose the shape of the fins, the shape of the cutout, an engraving on the front, and the color!
No prior experience needed - come prepared for a fun and creative activity!
Age: 16+, youth allowed with accompanying parent
