Description: In this exciting 2-week workshop for ages 11+, you’ll step into the world of digital design and making! Using Inkscape and Gizmo's professional laser cutter, you’ll explore how designers turn ideas into real, functional objects and create your own personalized trinket holder!
You’ll learn how to modify templates, experiment with shapes and engraving, and bring your ideas to life with the laser’s super-clean cuts. Along the way, you’ll earn skill badges for design, fabrication, laser engraving level 1, and safe tool use.
And if you’re hungry for more? Continue your journey in our follow-up four-week experience, "Gizmo Makers --Laser Lab," where you’ll level up, earn advanced badges, create more personalized projects, and move on the pathway to full certification on Gizmo’s laser cutter.
