Description: In this class, attendees will get an abbreviated introduction to the studio, clay, and pottery wheel. Come for a relaxed evening playing on the wheel the first week, and should you have a piece or two you'd like to save, we will glaze the piece the following week. Students should expect to focus on enjoying the medium, but if you're seeking to be certified in the studio or get a comprehensive education in pottery, the Fundamentals of Pottery class is a better option. This class is meant as a space to relax, enjoy a playful learning environment, and get your hands dirty.
