The Idaho Shared Stewardship Initiative

As the Idaho Department of Lands’ Statewide Shared Stewardship Coordinator, Ara will give a summary of how the Shared Stewardship Initiative began in Idaho, how wildfire risk was assessed across the state, what kinds of forest-management systems are used, and the collaborative community-based strategies that have resulted in thousands of acres of fuel-reduction treatments being implemented on federal, state and private forestlands.
