Description: Continuing the legacy of our beloved Maker Tots program, Gizmo-CDA will now be offering Drill-Bits: a four-session, biweekly making program for young children with a special emphasis on direct experience with Gizmo's machines and tools. Over the course of four one-hour sessions, children ages 4-6 and an accompanying parent or caregiver will complete hands-on projects organized around a particular theme.
At Drill-Bits: Blast Off! we will be exploring outer space by engineering stomp rockets, laser engraving a planisphere (star chart), and building space-themed marble runs in the woodshop.
Space is limited to 6 children -- if you wish to bring two children, you must register for 2 spots.
Age: 4-6, MUST be accompanied by a parent/adult caregiver throughout. As this is the only program we offer specifically for this group, we cannot make exceptions for children younger or older than this age range. Thank you for your understanding.
Cost: $45.00 for 4 weeks (includes materials)
