Description:
Teens can learn the basics of soldering, circuit design and laser cutting/engraving in this one-day workshop. We will build an edge-lit acrylic lamp from scratch, starting with creating a design in Inkscape and then engraving it into acrylic on Gizmo's laser. After a little practice with the soldering iron, we will assemble and solder a circuit to light our lamps.
Because this is a long class, we recommend bringing snacks/water.
